Description

Ok guys you asked for it and I finally got some time to do it - tutorial for my leather gloves: [link]

First of all submitted gfx is NOT an universal pattern but a recepie to do one fit for you.

You'll need:
- leather or scrap leather
- buckles (depends on how many straps you want)
- rivets 2 for every strap plus additional pair
- a bit of imagination

Parts:
Dotted line marks 1/2 of each part where:
I - base (hole for thumb should be only on one side - Ib ilustrate this) - you'll need 4 of them (2 in mirror reflection)
II - the part that goes on top
You'll also need to do straps to fasten gloves. Amount depends on total lenght of gloves - I have 4 for each glove).

Dimensions:
A - is total lenght of gloves mesured from knuckles to point where you want it
a - is distance from knuckles to very baisis of your thumb
b - goes from a to your wrist
c - is preety much thing of gusto (I've made it 3 cm)
B - is your hand circumference at knuckles (note that blue dimension is same at top and botom)
C - is your hand circumference at point where gloves should end

Part II should be a square 2 cm shorter from A and B at each side (that means 4 cm in total)

When cutting out you MUST remeber to leave about 1 cm for sewing parts together (grey) and folds (light blue)

Assembling:
First fold light blue area of both parts and sew it up (so it looks nicely). Then sew together matching copys of part I (grey area) - you shuold have 2 'cuffs' now.
Now mark where part II will go (at very center of cuff, 2 cm from each side) - this will help you place 'belts' so that distance between them is equal (but again they exact location depends on their amount - hope you know what I mean).
You can also glue (with shoe glue) belts to base so they want move.
Last thing to do is to make holes though all layers and put rivets though them so everything will hold together.

Hope it's quite clear. Good luck making your own :)
P.S. Sry for any gramma and vocabulary errors
